Was at rio park from 08th to 15th may with my friend.Was a bit apprehensive regarding all the bad comments but no worries hotel was fine.When arrived big queue but receptionist very quick at checking in.room could do with upgrade but was clean and tidy, room cleaned every day and clean towels daily maid really cheerful.large pool area with plenty of sunbeds.Food was excellent lots of choices even for a fussy eater like myself cant imagine anyone struggling to find something they like.Was also worried about the comments regarding muggings we were out till the early hours and never saw anyone hanging about the security guard was always out side wandering about.only downside was the entertainment which wasnt so good but we were out every night so didnt bother us.Would go back to, may 8th-19th 12.we were here a few years ago and loved it ,had some recent views from others before booking this time.plus side was the hotel was kept nice and clean.we had a good chamber maid but that was it.the downside was food was very lack-luster lots of repeats and the dining staff were so uninterested and surly in their attitude as were the check in staff , not the least bit friendly.we got the impression that all the staff were working under fear of redundncy.
